Welcome to Radical Shoots, Nashville’s premier boutique farm and ag-tech startup specializing in microgreens. Since our humble beginnings in a 100-square-foot room at The Forge, a nonprofit makerspace, we’ve grown into a thriving operation with a greenhouse at the Nashville Farmers Market, serving the Nashville Metro Area.
We are passionate about delivering the freshest, most nutrient-dense microgreens—tiny plants with incredible flavor, texture, and nutraceutical benefits. Each week, we hand-sow non-GMO seeds and cultivate them in short cycles of 1 to 4 weeks. This process ensures maximum freshness, flavor, and the natural compounds your body craves, like sulforaphane found in our broccoli microgreens.
Our microgreens are grown pesticide-free in Nashville and are available living or freshly cut to preserve their nutritional potency. From farm-to-table restaurants to weekend farmers market visitors, we are proud to serve chefs, hotels, and country clubs throughout Nashville.

Founder James Valencia started Radical Shoots to revolutionize urban farming and bring hyper-local, traceable food to the heart of Music City. Using data-driven techniques and scalable systems, we aim to make fresh, sustainable food accessible while supporting other local entrepreneurs.
Through collaborations with businesses like Infused Nashville (hot sauces and oils), Mighty Sprout (microgreen-infused sourdough), and VanArt Designs (veteran-made concrete artistry), we create a platform for Nashville’s creative and culinary community to thrive.
